Why this site exists
Search for an Ubud ATV tour and most of what comes back is an operator selling its own track, or a listing page that will not tell you the one thing that decides the booking: whether the van will come as far as your hotel.
The other gap is price. Operators publish walk-in rates of Rp 1,000,000 and up for a single quad, while the same rides list at $22 to $48 online. Nobody selling the walk-in rate is going to point that out, so it is written down here instead, with the rupiah figures and the exchange rate used.
How the comparison is built
Every field on a tour page — price, rating, review count, ride time, machine size, pickup coverage, minimum age, weight caps, what is included at the base — is read off the operator's own live listing and stamped with the month it was read. Where a listing is silent, the page says so rather than filling the gap with a guess.
Track detail that no listing states (where the bases sit, how long the drive from Ubud takes, what the walk-in prices are) comes from the operators' own websites and is cited in the text.

There is no invented guide persona on this site, no claim that anybody here rode the track last Tuesday, and no photograph presented as our own. What there is instead is a date on every fact and a named source for the ones that came from somewhere other than the listing.
Reviews
Quoted reviews are real, dated and verified on the booking platform, kept with the reviewer's first name and country as published. We do not write testimonials.
Criticism is not quoted as a showcased review, but it is not hidden either: where a pattern shows up across a year of feedback — a track that feels short, machines that stall — it is stated in the guide text with the practical answer attached.
